His Grandfather Edward Midmore was a gunner with the 5th Sussex (Reserve) Battery RFA..
No. 896 he signed up on 28th September 1914 and was active until 27th December 1919.

No. 896 he signed up on 28th September 1914 and was active until 27th December 1919.
He stayed in reserve in England until 11th October 1917 when he was sent to Mesopotamia and the subsequently to India.
